Single office pods are freestanding one-person enclosures designed to provide acoustic privacy for focused work and private calls within an open-plan office. They typically include integrated lighting, ventilation, a power outlet, and a work surface. Sound attenuation in commercial single pods ranges from 25 dB to 35 dB depending on the model, which is sufficient for phone and video calls in a standard office environment.

Single pods are used in any open-plan setting where private calls, video meetings, or concentrated work are a daily requirement but a separate room is not available.
