Credenzas are low-profile storage units typically positioned against a wall in a private office or boardroom. They sit at approximately 730 mm to 750 mm height, which is lower than a standard storage cabinet and serves as both storage and a display or work surface at the same time. They typically include a combination of hinged door cupboards, drawers, and open shelving behind lockable doors, in premium finishes suited to executive environments.

Credenzas are most commonly used in private offices alongside an executive desk and in boardrooms as a sideboard for equipment storage and presentation materials.
